3.3: Candidates plan standards-based, coherent and relevant learning experiences in reading that reflect knowledge of current theory and research about the teaching and learning of reading and that utilize individual and collaborative approaches and a variety of reading strategies.

 

Reflection:

 

Student learning is what we're all here for, and applying current theory is important. My students worked individually and collaboratively on a range of activities, from simple vocabulary manipulatives to in depth guided virtual tours of historical places. Many of these types of activities are listed below in my unit plan for A Midsummer Night's Dream, as well as a year long plan I created for the EDUC 440 class.
